1. Joining
Anyone aged 18 or over with a VinylRender account can join by accepting these terms in the partner dashboard. One partner account per person or business. We may decline or close a partner account that breaks these terms.
2. How referrals are tracked
Your personal link adds ?ref=yourcode to any VinylRender page. When someone opens it, a first-party cookie is stored for 60 days. If they open several partner links, the last one counts. When that visitor creates a new account (email or Google), the referral is saved permanently to their account. Visitors who already had an account before clicking your link are not attributed.
3. Commission
You earn 30% of every successful payment made by a referred customer during the 12 months that follow their first payment: one-time Release packs, monthly and annual subscriptions, renewals and repeat purchases. Commission is calculated on the amount actually paid, excluding VAT and taxes. Free accounts, trials and payments of €0 earn nothing.
4. Safety hold, refunds and chargebacks
Each commission is pending for 30 days after the payment. If the payment is refunded during that time, the commission is cancelled (or reduced for a partial refund). After the hold it becomes available. If a refund or chargeback happens after a commission was already paid or requested, the same amount is deducted from your future earnings. Commissions that our systems flag for review stay pending until we check them.
5. Payouts
You can request a payout when your available balance is at least €30 and you have saved valid payout details. Requests are processed once a month, normally within the first 10 days, by PayPal or SEPA bank transfer in EUR. We send the full amount; any fees charged by PayPal or your bank when receiving it are your responsibility. Your first payout may be reviewed manually. Balances below the minimum carry over to the next month.
6. Not allowed
The following are not allowed and void the related commissions: referring yourself or accounts you control; buying through another account with your own payment card; fake, incentivised or automated sign-ups; cookie stuffing, hidden iframes or forced clicks; spam (unsolicited email, DMs, comment spam); bidding on “VinylRender” or similar brand keywords in paid search; pretending to be VinylRender or offering discounts or features that do not exist; promoting on sites with illegal, hateful or adult content.
7. Taxes
Commissions are income for you. You are responsible for declaring them and paying any taxes or social contributions due in your country. We may ask for information needed for our accounting before sending a payout.
8. Data and privacy
We store the minimum needed to run the program: your partner code, anonymised click data (IP addresses are stored only as one-way hashes), the referral link to customer accounts and your payout details. IBANs are encrypted at rest. Partners never see the names or emails of referred customers — only anonymous customer numbers and amounts. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
9. Ending participation
You can leave at any time by contacting us; your available balance above the minimum will be paid with the next payout run. We may suspend or close a partner account for breaking these terms; in that case pending and unpaid commissions connected to the breach are cancelled. If we close the program, we will give 30 days’ notice and pay out all valid available balances.
10. Changes
We may update these terms, for example the commission rate or payout schedule. Changes apply to payments made after the update is published; commissions already earned keep the terms under which they were earned.
