When you go through checkout, Stripe may set its own cookies on Stripe's payment pages, for fraud prevention and to complete the transaction. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's cookie and privacy policies, not ours.
If you arrive through a partner link (an address containing ?ref=), we set a first-party cookie called vr_ref for 60 days. It contains only the partner’s code and is used to credit that partner if you create an account. It is not used for advertising and is not shared with third parties. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will prevent signing in, paying, and accessing your download archive — but you can still render and preview videos, since that part of the site needs no account.
Images you upload are held in your browser's memory for the duration of your editing session and are discarded when you close the tab. They are not written to persistent storage and not sent to us.
